Wow, it's been a while since I did any of these. I've been hybernating from the site for a long time now, after all my promises to upload more stuff and that. Digital painting has taken a slow downfall since my computer irritates the hell out of me. And I've been sent/kicked out to Africa for a few months to do an internship. That's where I've been pretty much since December 2012. Been to europe and stuff as well, but didn't get to do much drawing there.

What to expect? I'm finishing my internship this Friday, and then the next Friday I'm in London for two weeks. Then I'm back to KL, where good news, I'll be getting a better rig for *ahem my digital work. And since I am done with school, I'll be about 80% painting, and 20% gaming.

And 10% working off all the fat I accumulated these past six months.

Also, did I tell you I failed Maths? But, on the bright side, I did do a pretty damn good portrait of the examiner. However they didn't let me keep it.

Anyways, posted some sketches from my time at the internship. Got a whole bunch of other shitty ones, that I won't bother putting up. Time to become the best at this.

See ya.

A new Dawn.

Hey, everybody.

Just thought I'd update this journal for once. Well, really I'm just trying to get rid of that big paragraph sitting on my screen.

Trying to clear the space up a bit.

In unrelated news, I'm going to be working with color, in more detail now. Or at least with better skills. Expect less work from me, but better work.

New Unveiling.

Hi.

So, my birthday is coming up pretty soon, and I thought I should give myself a treat. That treat just so happens to be Battlefield Bad Company 2. It's been a game which I have had my eyes set on for a while now. Only recently, however, have I had the financial equity to afford it. And it's my birthday, which means money. There are a few things which I think should be set in order. Firstly, I wish to upgrade my computer within this month, after my birthday so I can plan things out more accurately. Then, I will purchase BC2, and I will have to reinstall all my games, but I'm not worried about that. No. I'm glad, in fact. A way to cleanse my computer of the filth it bears. I will be backing up my art, and my novels. Ken, you know what that means.
I will ensure I have all my drivers and all that stuff, before anything will be committed too early. I must look for my internet adapter stuff, and the rest. But, anyway. That's something I have to worry about.

Anyway, the game looks gorgeous. Both gameplay, and graphics wise. The explosions seem pretty fluid, and I really hope I can enjoy this game fully. What I certainly hope, is that people in this country play the game. I don't live in Europe anymore, so it might be a little more challenging. I will specifically enjoy the game, because there are NO Killstreaks. Now I'm sure you are like "WHAT?!", but it's actually a good thing. I don't think I will be getting as frustrated when I die, because I wasn't working towards anything. The most I suffer from, is probably the tactical stupidity I am bound to face. However, that is life. Also, the entire layout of this game appeals me very much, I like the idea of vehicles and all that. It seems to add a little omph to the game. I'm also curious about the storyline, which seems to carry on which I thought it wouldn't be able to. I'll be looking forward to playing this game, and yea. So, thanks for reading. Tell me what you think.

Space Art

Hi, I've been meaning to write up a new journal entry for a while. Some might believe I've had a lot on my mind, but really I wanted to get rid of the Avatar review. So, I've decided to express my newly found interest in Space Art. I've been working on color for a bit now, and I'm getting really tired with it. My drawings aren't getting more unique, because I've expanded my inspiration as far as it goes for now. So, I've decided to take up Space Art! Yes, I think that developing this skill will generally expand my horizons. I mean, backgrounds could be so much cooler, I could draw outer space stuff, it'll be cool. So, my piece Gravitational Isolation was just an outlet, or an experiment to see what I could do. I already tried to mix my painting and my effects work together, and it doesn't look too bad. I've remembered mistakes I've made in the past which is always a good thing. I've been doodling around, but I'm tied down with my novel as I'm spending way too long writing it. It's been forever. Anyway, I'm almost finished which is amazing news. There are still about a hundred pages to write, but I'm almost a hundred percent sure of what will happen. I'm pretty proud of what I've written so far. Anyway, let's all hope for the best. I plan on making a tutorial on concept art, once I've got my skills polished around the edges and better use of colours.

Anyway, I'm getting distracted.
